Florida State Flower

Wildflower

!!coreopsis-at-ah
The Florida state flower, tickseed (Coreopsis leavenworthii), is flourishing in the landscape at the Audubon House. Quite adaptable, this wildflower is not part of the flora of the adjacent Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area. Tickseed produces plenty of seeds, it not dead-headed too soon, and may find its way from the Audobon House landscape.
