Gorgeous gopher tortoise

12/23/2014: Diane LaRue sent this photo of a gorgeous gopher tortoise that she and Susan Warmer saw on their regular invasive plant control Wednesday workdays, near the ‘quarry’ area, a depression near to Vero South Square Shopping Plaza where fill for U.S. Highway 1 was dug. Oslo Riverfront Conservation Area has many, many fewer invasive pest plants thanks to the ongoing efforts of Diane, Susan, Jean ‘JJ’ Romano, and Ken Gonyo – the ‘regular’ Wednesday work crew.
